Two dynamic and talented individuals, Tengku Rozidar and Ahmad Zakir set up the first Malaysian hot dog stall in Sunway Pyramid. 1901 was awarded the “Most Promising Franchisor of the Year for 2000 / 2001.
The first 1901 outlet in Asia was opened in July 1997. Today 1901 can be found in more than 70 locations across Malaysia.
In August 2007, 1901 decided to collaborate with WAO to raise funds for the Refuge and Child Care Centre. After an initial meeting, 1901 made a pledge to donate 50 cents from the sales of their Coney dog hotdogs for a period of two months.
In the coming months, 1901 is planning a public awareness and fundraising road show with WAO. |
