Amazon Agency’s Queens of Hearts invade Zouk Club KL for International Women’s Week

That’s right, Zouk Club KL plays host to a special charity night this March, Queens of Hearts, an event initiated by Amazon Agency, Asia’s only all-female DJ collective. Queen of the hive DJ Stella Nutella (SW) decided that it was high time to put clubbing and social conscience together, ‘party with a purpose’ as she calls it. “ We want to raise awareness about women’s issues and help our sisters out there … and have fun at the same time,” she explains of the night.

With partners Zouk KL, Queens of Hearts will be bringing in one of Amazon Agency’s hottest international DJs, DJ Lou Lou (AUS) to rock the crowd as well as having a back-to-back set by dynamic duo of DJ Nuthiya (MY) and DJ Chelsea J (CAN) who will do what they do best—get the crowds stomping in a dance frenzy. DJ Stella Nutella will do a return set at Zouk, a rare appearance by this busy international artist. The event is also an international one as nights are being planned in India, Bali and others, all for the same cause of raising awareness and helping show that clubbers have a heart.

The cause chosen for the benefit, The Women’s Aid Organization (WAO) is one of Malaysia’s premier foundations, helping women in distress in a variety of situations. Queens of Hearts will have a variety of ways to donate to WAO’s activities and a few secret surprises.

“We believe that a DJ is booked on merit of being able to rock the club! QoH is a fantastic opportunity for clubbers to experience the phenomena of female DJs that have skill, flair and unbeatable presence and aura, which we believe translates to a fantastic night out!

Looking at the bigger picture, as a club that has a large amount of females coming to our venue, we’re passionate about gender issues, about making sure that women have a safe environment to have fun and a good time out. With Queens of Hearts, showcasing female DJs and having a donations to WAO solicited on the night that shows that we are committed in a positive manner to the issues at hand.
